I received the sweetest email from Laura today.  How gorgeously adorable was her and Andy's wedding? I just love to see couples who really express themselves on their wedding day and create a wonderful and enchanting experience for their guests.  Weddings are such a great time to share who you are as a couple, your personal style and showcase all the things you love together.  Laura also mentioned that she wore some pieces from our "MY PRETTY" Wizard of Oz collection featuring Glinda the Good Witch.  I love how she paired it with a less traditional antique peach hued dress.  To see more beautiful pictures and read all about it check out Rock n'Roll Bride.  Oh we just love weddings here at The Sparkle Factory! SINGER PINK sparkles in TT POM-POM GEM GLOSS!

Pink has been wearing our jewelry and accessories for years in her videos, on tour and in real life. And now she is a TT Beauty junkie too!  Makeup Artist KATHY JEUNG used our Gem Gloss in POM POM to add the right amount of candy pink to Pink's pout for the American Music Awards.

MAGICAL MONDAY!

Sometimes its the little things, like a jar full of gumballs, that get us through our Monday's and make them a little more magical.  I have jars full  of everything I love in my inspirationatorium at The Sparkle Factory.  Can you guess what some of those things might be?

Blood, Sweat, Sparkle and Curve balls....

It is not easy, but its worth every bit of blood, sweat, and sparkle.  Start each day with one goal in mind; to give it your best, work your hardest and believe that you can do it.  Find what you love most in life and then find a way to make it your work, your life, your career.  I know this can sound impossible but take it from me, it is possible!  But..... it is not EASY and always comes with a price.  You must sacrifice comfort, time with family and friends, sleep, and more.  But it's worth it when you see all that you have worked so hard for come to life.  Be ready for the curve balls!  They will come and you will not get any warning. Just when you think things are all starting to fall into place its as if some invisible force is throwing things in your way to make everything more challenging.  My advice is to get a big bat and smash right through every challenge, and know that you will learn your most valuable lessons during these times.  Don't let anyone or anything stop you from achieving your dreams!  And if they try to, banish them from your personal kingdom!  Negative and bitter people will only drag you down and surrounding yourself with good people will make your life happier, better, and more fulfilling than you could every imagine.  Sometimes bad people can seem good at first,  so make sure you trust your gut instinct to tell you when something is wrong.  Keeping bad apples in your life will make it harder to deal with the curve balls. This much I know for sure.

Dia De Los Muertos is just around the corner along with Halloween.  Last year I had a chance to check out the incredible DDLM displays at the HOLLYWOOD FOREVER cemetary where they take this holiday very seriously.  The gorgeous explosions of colorful flowers both paper and real along with the rainbow sugar skulls and festive costumes each one more over the top than the next inspired this new collection.  Available for a limited time at http://www.tarinatarantino.com/

MAGICAL CREAMSHADOW! Its as easy as 1, 2, 3!

My STARCHILD ODYSSEY MAGIC HOUR CREAMSHADOWS are a three part eye look that should take you less than three minutes to complete.  All you need is your finger and an eyeliner brush to create an out of this world eye look in less than three minutes!  

STEP ONE; apply NEBULA creamshadow from lashline to browbone. Blend over entire lid area.

 

STEP TWO; apply STARCHILD on entire lid. One layer is a wash of sheer sparkle, two layers will give you more depth and color. 

STEP THREE; apply METEOR NIGHT along upper lashline with your eyeliner brush. Start on the inner corner and blend out.  Finsh your eye look with my FLEUR DE LASH mascara in BLACK OPAL.  My creamshadows are waterproof and will stay on all day without cracking or creasing.  This is my go-to product for rainy days (like today!) for a weatherproof makeup look that takes you from day to night.

PINK LINCOLN

Three of my favorites all rolled into one.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Waycott!

Jennifer Waycott, our TT Nat'l Account Manager sparkled in her custom TT headpiece and Sparklicity Shimmer Dust this summer at her gorgeous wedding. This wedding was so well appointed, with every detail attended to perfection.  It took place at a vintage winery/estate in the gorgeous countryside north of Los Angeles on a perfect summer day. Mr & Mrs Waycott made sure that their guests had a good time with delicious food, beautiful decor and there was even a dress up photo booth (which was a big hit with everyone!).  My favorite part was seeing how radiant, gorgeous and happy this wonderful couple were that day as they danced under the sparkling stars.

I loved the Violet & Hyacinth color scheme and the cake topper was a perfect playful detail and very representative of Chris & Jen.

And let me tell you those cake pops were DELICIOUS! A great twist on the cupcake and another whimsical detail that guests were delighted by.

I love music and it is a constant inspiration in my daily life.  KCRW is a Los Angeles treasure, a radio station that still plays music that the DJ's actually choose themselves.  Over the years I have discovered some of my favorite music listening to KCRW. The Guest DJ project is so incredible because you discover a lot about people from the music they listen to.

JOHNNY RAMONE TRIBUTE EVENT

Sunday was the 9th annual JOHNNY RAMONE tribute at Hollywood Forever. It was a beautiful night under the stars with stars like Rose McGowan and Kelly Osbourne. There was great music (of course!) and movies including Johnny's favorite horror classic "Frankenstein". We had a rock & roll picnic and frolicked in the moonlight while The Ramones iconic music filled the air with electric energy. This was all hosted by Linda Ramone (wife of the late Johnny Ramone) who pulls it all off with style every year.
